IELTS WRITING: 2 must needed skills to get band 7


     Do you often wonder why you are not getting band score 7 or higher?

     If you don’t know what to check and edit in  IELTS writing task 2 ?

Along with skills about Task achievement, grammatical range, cohesion and coherence, and lexical resource, you need precise skills to check and edit your writing. Otherwise, you will leave lot of mistakes in your writing paper. Therefore, your score will be affected seriously.
IELTS Candidates, who often wonder why they are not getting their desire score, even after writing perfect essay. Checking and editing can be the answer for them. This is even more serious for the candidates who have been struggling to score band 7 or higher  in the IELTS writing test.

 Unfortunately, some candidates even do not know what to check in his/her writing. So, no more ignorance about checking and editing your writing paper.
  
Today, I will tell you some points, which you should check and edit for the IELTS writing task 2.


1.       Unclear words: if examiner cannot understand what you write then it will not achieve good score even if you exhibit  all other skills for writing. So, it is very essential that you find out those unclear words and make them legible.

2.       Spelling: Spelling mistakes are very commonly found problems in the IELTS writing answer script. You should make habit to find out spelling mistakes while you practice writing, and learn to fix them accordingly.


3.       Signposting words: if you use signposting words in wrong place, in other words, if you cannot use them appropriately, then it will affect the flow of your writing. Therefore, examiner can be misguided by you! And your cohesion and coherence will be messed up. As a result, examiner will give you low band score.

4.       Subject- verb agreement: Maybe it is the most common mistakes of your writing. You should learn to identify Subject- verb agreement related mismatched and solve them. Otherwise, your score for grammatical accuracy will be not be up to the mark.   


5.      Word count: It is rather very straightforward. You should make sure that whether have written at least 250 words for writing task 2. During checking and editing, if you find that you have written less than 250 words, then you should extend your answer.

Edit your writing: remember no writer can prove himself/ herself accurate without editing their writing. After watching this tutorial, you can identify your mistakes// and you can edit them accordingly.
